We accept media that is lawful and abides to all applicable copyright laws.
2. Who can submit media?
You must be the owner of such media or authorized to submit the media to GEM by its copyright owner(s).
3. What are the requirements to submit media listings?
There are (2) requirements:
At no point is your media required to have been publicly screened or released but it must be at least 80% complete on the date of submission. Poster
art is preferred.
4. What types of file formats do you accept?
Bold options are preferred.
Certification is now optional and acknowledges your ownership or legal rights in the media in which you are submitting. We permit you to submit
HTML code to embed your videos from third-party websites. However, you are solely responsible to abide by their terms and policies. You may also
contact us to make special arrangements to submit your media to us.
5. Is it possible to include my entire catalog on the Global Entertainment Marketplace?
Yes and you'll have more opportunities to acquire advertisers or sponsors.
7. Will the media I exhibit or screen have advertisements on it before it plays?
Qualifying members can acquire their own advertisers or sponsors. This depends on if YOU can sell the advertisements. You negotiate your own
deals, acquire your own advertisers or sponsors, charge your own rates, and edit and package everything together. Advertisements should not
exceed (30) seconds in length. Here's the best part, you keep all of your advertising revenues. You will ultimately be responsible for fulfilling all
agreements you have with your advertisers or sponsors so be sure to coordinate your efforts with us.
If you submit media as third-party videos (such as YouTube), you are NOT permitted to sell advertisements with your media clips. Only qualified
members are permitted to sell advertisements that will play before your media. To become qualified, you must purchase media capacity on GEM.
Advertisements are subject to GEM approval.
8. How can I maximize my media's exposure on the marketplace?
Basically the more involved you are, the more you'll get in return.
9. Can I add my own layout and graphics?
We can work with you on this but the basic layout is provided to keep it simple.
